I heard a good quote once... "If you think you are smart, try woodworking." I think of that every time I work on a project - there is ALWAYS something lurking around the corner that you did not expect and surely did not plan for.

The angle that will work for one plane will not work for another. Not only is the smaller plane less stable, the blade and tote stick out past where the door will be located when closed.
