Record Player Case
My wife has requested that I
build her a cabinet to house her record player and several of her grandmother's
old, "Big-Band" records. Subscribing to the belief that all other
projects go on hold when there is something to make for the house -
especially at the wife's request - I am getting started.

I spent some time looking at images of various styles of cabinets. There were a few design elements that I knew that I had to have (like ogee feet), but was not sure about the overall design until I started drawing.

I received a LOT of really good suggestions from others in the woodworking community on how to tweak the design to make it more pleasing to the eye. I changed the profile of some of the molding, as well as changed the design of the feet.
